Tooth Extraction

TOOTH EXTRACTION

Teeth with deep caries or damage may need to be removed due to gingival disorders, which lose their bone support and wobble in the mouth. Wisdom teeth are in some cases in a rotated or tilted position. In such a case, they may need to be removed due to the possibility of decaying the adjacent tooth or creating an infection due to the difficulty of cleaning in that area. An Orthodontist may recommend that some teeth be extracted in order to enable the teeth to erupt more comfortably in jaws with limited space.

What Will My Dentist Do During Tooth Extraction?

Some teeth are easily pulled out. Before the extraction, the area is anesthetized with a local anesthetic solution. Sedation can be applied to anxious patients, for tooth extraction that requires difficult surgery, and during the extraction of children’s teeth for relief. In our clinic, we perform procedures for patients with anxiety by relieving them with sedation.

What Your Dentist Will Do After Deciding to Extract the Tooth:

 Minimizing pain during shooting

 To say that someone should be present if a comfortable tooth extraction with sedation is desired.

 Indication of when it is appropriate to have the tooth extracted

 Treatment alternatives to fill the extraction gap that will occur after tooth extraction are mentioned.

When Tooth Extraction;

You may feel some noise or pressure; but you should definitely not feel pain. In some cases, stitches are placed in the extraction space to help it heal faster, prevent bleeding after extraction, and make the area more comfortable.

After Extraction;

You may need to rest for one or more days depending on the difficulty of the shoot. Many people may experience slight discomfort after tooth extraction. The dentist should keep the patient under control until he sees that the bleeding has completely stopped after extraction. Care should be taken not to drink anything or smoke for 24 hours after the shooting.

The Dentist Finally Recommends What To Do After Extraction To The Patient;

 If there is pain, what type of painkiller should be used.

 If an unusual problem occurs, a contact number is given to reach the dentist.
